1 Transfer assembly
: N·m (kg-m, ft-lb)
*: Apply anti-corrosion oil.

Removal and Installation

NOTE: When removing components such as hoses, tubes/lines, etc., cap or plug openings to prevent fluid from spilling.

REMOVAL

  1.  Remove front drive shaft (RH). Refer to FAX-20, "Removal and Installation (RH)".
  2.  Remove front suspension member. Refer to FSU-20, "Removal and Installation".
  3.  Remove front exhaust tube. Refer to EX-5, "Exploded View".
  4.  Remove rear propeller shaft. Refer to DLN-99, "Removal and Installation".
  5.  Remove transaxle assembly to transfer assembly bolts.

CAUTION: Be careful not to damage gear ring oil seal inside of CVT.

  1. Remove transfer assembly from the vehicle.
