Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

  1.  Drain engine coolant. Refer to CO-8, "Draining".

WARNING: Do not remove the radiator cap when the engine is hot. Serious burns could occur from high pressure coolant escaping from the radiator.

CAUTION:

  1.  Remove the generator. Rafer to CHG-20, "Removal and Installation".
  2.  Remove water pump.

CAUTION:

INSTALLATION

  1.  Tighten water pump bolts in sequence to specification.

Installation

25 N·m (2.6 kg-m, 18 ft-lb)

  1. Tighten water pump housing bolts in sequence to specification.

Installation

25 N·m (2.6 kg-m, 18 ft-lb)

Installation of remaining components is in the reverse order of removal.
