For USA
If you believe that your vehicle has a defect that could cause a crash or lead to injury or death, you should immediately inform the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in addition to notifying NISSAN. This applies whether you drive a Nissan Rogue or another NISSAN model.
If NHTSA receives similar complaints, it may open an investigation. If a safety defect is found in a group of vehicles, NHTSA may order a recall and remedy campaign. However, NHTSA cannot assist with individual issues between you, your dealer, or NISSAN.
To contact NHTSA, you may call the Vehicle Safety Hotline toll-free at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY: 1-800-424-9153); go to http://www.safercar.gov; or write to: Administrator, NHTSA, 1200 New Jersey Avenue, SE., Washington, D.C. 20590.
You can also obtain additional information about motor vehicle safety, including data relevant to the Nissan Rogue, from http://www.safercar.gov.
You may notify NISSAN by contacting our Consumer Affairs Department, toll-free, at 1-800-NISSAN-1.
For Canada
If you believe that your vehicle has a defect that could cause a crash or result in injury or death, you should immediately inform Transport Canada as well as NISSAN. This process also applies if you own a Nissan Rogue registered in Canada.
If Transport Canada receives a number of similar complaints, it may open an investigation, and if a safety defect is found within a group of vehicles, it may request that NISSAN initiate a recall campaign. However, Transport Canada cannot intervene in individual matters between you, your dealer, or NISSAN, even if the concern involves a model like the Nissan Rogue.
You may contact Transport Canada's Defect Investigations and Recalls Division toll free at 1-800-333-0510. Safety defects may also be reported online at:
