WARNING
1. Pull the hood lock release handle 1 located below the driver’s side instrument panel to slightly raise the hood of the Nissan Rogue.
2. Push the lever 2 under the hood sideways with your fingertips.
3. Raise the hood fully.
4. Remove the support rod and insert it into slot 3.
Hold the coated parts A when handling the support rod of the Nissan Rogue hood, as metal parts may be hot after the engine is turned off.
When closing the hood:
1. Support the hood and return the support rod to its original position.
2. Lower the hood to about 8–12 in (20–30 cm) above the lock and let it drop.
3. Ensure the hood of the Nissan Rogue is securely latched.
