Basic information
The displayed guide lines and their positions on the ground are intended only as approximate references. When driving the Nissan Rogue on uphill, downhill, or uneven surfaces, or when objects extend outward, the actual distance may differ from what appears on the monitor relative to the guide lines.
If you are unsure about the spacing behind the Nissan Rogue, turn your head to visually confirm the area, or stop, exit the vehicle, and check the surroundings directly.

Backing up on a steep uphill
When reversing the Nissan Rogue uphill, the distance guide lines and vehicle width lines will appear closer than the true distance. Objects located on the incline are actually farther away than shown on the screen.

Backing up on a steep downhill
When reversing the Nissan Rogue downhill, the distance guide lines and width guide lines will appear farther away than the actual distance. Objects on the downhill slope are in reality closer to the vehicle than they appear in the monitor.

Backing up near a projecting object
The predictive course lines A may not visually touch the object on the display. However, the Nissan Rogue may still contact the obstacle if the object protrudes into the true reversing path.

Models with 3D view
Backing up behind a projecting object
While the display may show position C as farther away than position B, the actual distance to point C is the same as point A. The Nissan Rogue may hit the obstacle when reversing to point A if the object extends into the real reversing path.
