If CVT fluid inspection or replacement is needed, it is recommended to have the work performed by a NISSAN dealer.
CAUTION
- NISSAN recommends using Genuine NISSAN CVT Fluid NS-3 (or an approved equivalent) ONLY for CVT-equipped models. Do not mix with other fluids.
- Do not use ATF or Manual Transmission fluid in the CVT, as this may lead to severe damage. Such damage is not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.
- Using fluids that are not equivalent to NS-3 may also harm the transmission, and repairs caused by incorrect fluids are not warrantable.
