Nissan Rogue (T33) 2021-Present Owner’s Manual & User Guide: Car phone or CB radio
When installing a car phone or CB radio in your Nissan Rogue, follow these precautions to avoid interference with electronic modules or wiring systems.
WARNING
- Do not use a handheld cellular phone while driving. It is unsafe and may be prohibited in some regions.
- If a call must be made while the Nissan Rogue is in motion, use the hands-free mode (if equipped) and remain extremely cautious.
- If you need to take notes during a conversation, safely pull off the road and stop the vehicle before doing so.
CAUTION
- Install the antenna as far away as possible from electronic control modules in the Nissan Rogue.
- Keep the antenna wire more than 8 in (20 cm) away from electronic harnesses and never route it alongside factory wiring.
- Adjust the antenna standing-wave ratio as recommended by the device manufacturer.
- Ensure the CB radio ground wire is securely connected to the vehicle body.
- For assistance, it is recommended to visit a NISSAN dealer familiar with Nissan Rogue electronics.
